ManageEngine pricing at a glance
ManageEngine PAM360 publishes a per-administrator-per-year list price scaled by admin and key count; there are no separately-named feature editions. The cheapest published bundle covers 10 admins and 25 keys at $7,995/year (English subscription); the same tier in the multilingual build is $9,595/year. Larger admin/key tiers scale up from there, and a perpetual-licence option is published alongside the subscription.
Published pricing tiers (by admin and key count)
PAM360 does not sell separately-named editions. The annual subscription list price is banded by the number of administrators and managed keys. The per-admin rate falls as you scale up.
| Admins / keys | Annual subscription (English) | Multilingual | Implied per-admin/year |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 / 25 | $7,995 | $9,595 | ~$800 |
| 20 / 50 | $12,995 | $15,595 | ~$650 |
| 25 / 100 | $14,995 | $17,995 | ~$600 |
| 50 / 200 | $24,995 | $29,995 | ~$500 |
| 100 / 300 | $36,995 | $44,395 | ~$370 |
Worked example: 50-admin mid-market
Acme HealthPlan Co. (illustrative example, not a real company) is a 50-admin mid-market with regulated workloads managing around 200 privileged keys, so it lands on the published 50 admins / 200 keys tier.
Our calculator uses the implied $800/admin/year rate from the entry 10-admin tier, with the $7,995 floor enforced for under 10 admins. In practice the effective per-admin rate falls at larger tiers, so the calculator is conservative (higher) for big estates.
What ManageEngine PAM360 is good at
- Published list price. One of the few PAM platforms in the Gartner Magic Quadrant ecosystem with a public per-admin rate.
- On-premise deployment. Strong fit for buyers who must host the credential vault inside their own infrastructure.
- Wide ManageEngine ecosystem integration. AD Manager Plus, Endpoint Central, Log360 all integrate natively.
What to watch on ManageEngine contracts
- Pricing is banded by admin/key count. Growth past your current tier (for example beyond 25 keys or 10 admins) moves you to the next published bracket, so budget against the tier you will actually land on.
- Self-hosted deployment cost. Server, OS, database, HA pair, backup, certificate management all carry their own ops cost.
- Language-pack add-ons and professional services for migration from legacy PAM tools are typically quoted separately.
- Perpetual licence option exists alongside the subscription, priced differently.
Compare ManageEngine PAM360 to alternatives
